388 Barkly Street is a thoughtful series of sophisticated, sustainably designed homes situated in Brunswick – on the cusp of the area’s sprawling parklands and outdoor amenities, and just beyond Melbourne’s bustling CBD.

Created in collaboration with local practices DREAMER and Breathe Architecture, the design is guided at every step by principles of ethical architecture, and a desire to craft beautiful, functional homes that facilitate a meaningful connection between residents and nature.

To achieve this vision, our architectural partners experimented with best practices and techniques to deliver a design that’s authentically sustainable and stands proud as an exemplar of design with a conscience. Among the many sustainable initiatives, these homes are gas and fossil-fuel free, powered by 100% green energy, and supported by solar power integrated into the building.

Outside In take an ethical approach to property development, with a focus on projects that make a positive contribution to the landscape and are built with minimal impact on the environment. Dreamer is led by Ben Shields an architect fascinated by our relationship to environments we inhabit and why we experience them differently. He has been awarded and exhibited design work internationally including the RIBA Silver Medal and Rob Architecture Competition.

Established in 1964, Koorool Constructions is a third generation, family owned building company, having delivered some of Melbourne’s most prestigious homes in the most sought after suburbs.
